A Flat Color, Bust Shot commission for an Anonymous commissioner.
Seems upon exploring a new world, Samus Aran came upon a mysterious humanoid girl struggling around in a pool of sticky and gooey slime. Upon trying to rescue her, Samus ended up getting stuck and sinking down alongside her. The girl being Lum, and now the duo sink down even further in the sticky slime, Lum seeming to enjoy her situation while Samus still struggles to get free. :3

Oh, wow. This reminds me of the energy-draining liquid in Metroid II: Return of Samus. It was, I think, one of the main reasons I never got through the game; it cleared away some, but I've always felt it was still blocking where I needed to go and I just needed another earthquake to open up the way... (By the way, any of you out there ever make it through that game?). Anyway, this is great work, and quite intriguing. Is the slime alive? Will Samus and Lum become its slaves? Will they escape? What happens next? (Just my long, drawn-out way of saying: Good Job. 😊)
